Pull The Other One

from John Drake.
My regrets to Messrs Johnstone and Le Lievre (10/10), but it's something like 30 years since the New Yorker magazine ran a cartoon of a couple eating in a French restaurant while through the open door could be seen a couple of legless frogs in wheelchairs.
It was the first time I had seen the humorous idea exploited (humorous if, like most Age readers, you are not a frog) but I hesitate to declare that even that was absolutely the first time in history that it had been taken up for, as Mr Johnstone says, ``nothing is new". -- John Drake, Balwyn.
